Loco Pez was inspired by the food trucks of Los Angeles. This spot is a Philadelphia neighborhood favorite. Loco Pez is a corner "dive bar" that was modified into a neighborhood pub and taqueria. Philadelphia locals speak highly of this spot's food and drinks. That's exactly why my friends and I decided to visit!
It was a nice day in the city of Philadelphia. Loco Pez has outdoor seating, which was perfect for taking advantage of the nice weather. Loco Pez had a large drink menu, but we decided to try the famous margarita. The first drink that I tried was a habanero margarita, which was not shy on the tequila...or the habanero. There was also a huge beer selection for those who aren't margarita drinkers.
After a few drinks, my friends and I decided to order some food. We couldn't leave this spot without trying their popular tacos. The food was amazing, authentic and flavorful. The servers were also great about giving us recommendations based on what we liked.

-Difficult to park(recommend using lyft)
-Only two small bathrooms, so when busy, may have to wait

In conclusion, Loco Pez was a great place to go for authentic Mexican food and drinks. This spot also has a variety of drink options. The location in Fishtown is close to other restaurants and bars if you want to spend the day roaming the city. Overall, the service, food, drinks, and vibes were amazing. I will definitely be going back!
