El Vez is a well-known, trendy Mexican restaurant/bar with beautiful Latin decor. It's located in center city Philadelphia and gets a lot of recognition on its upscale eats and cocktails.
It makes for an amazing environment to enjoy a bite to eat and colorful cocktails.
El Vez offers indoor, outdoor, as well as bar seating (All pictured above), but due to expected rain we chose to sit indoors.
Drinks:
We started with "The Pink Cadillac" which is silver tequila with orange nectar, fresh orange, as well as lime and cranberry juices. Since the restaurant is upscale, it is a bit pricy but not extremely. This was the cheapest one on the menu and cost $11, while the others ranged up to $17. The coctail was amazing and tasted like pink lemonade; the tequila was masked very well! ("The Pink Cadillac" pictured below):

Additionally, we got salsa and chips ($8) as well as "Tito Sanata Guacamole" ($17). The chips were a nice crunch with the perfect amount of salt and the salsa was very flavorful. The guacamole was our favorite. The unique recipe contained mango, red bell peppers, jicma, habanero, and serrano chiles. (Salsa and Guac pictured below):
Verdict:
If you are looking for delcious meal with amazing cocktails we highly recommend checking out El Vez. They had quick service and very nice servers. A bonus is the beautiful decor! The only downside is that it can be a bit pricy and parking may be tough to find nearby unless you are okay with paying for parking garage.
